While in Japan I found 4 beautiful vintage bottle kokeshis that I added to my collection. They inspired this drawing.

So it is my best friend's birthday today and she is 30! I decided to make a pattern of her and her two cats Chewie and Ophelia... I hope she likes it!

 

The top closeup is the actual pattern repeat and can be used for internet applications if so desired.

I've been in Japan almost three months! I drew this at the beginning of the trip and forgot to post it. I will be leaving soon and will have to make a big post about my travels. It's been a blast and I have many pictures!!
