Cutely Spotted Bags, Cookies and Halloween fun!

What does it mean when you design handbags for a living and then go home and design handbags for fun? I guess that means you just really like handbags! ::sigh::

Mmmm, so I thought I would share this tasty treat! I made some Oatmeal Cookies last night that were super yummy and surprisingly easy! I have never fancied myself a cook... I have even gone as far as to say I HATE cooking... but recently... I FEEL LIKE SUPER BAKING COOK LADY! and I LOVE IT! hahahah who knew...

Last night my husband and I were having a major sweets craving but did not want to leave the house. We had almost NOTHING in the house... just one box of cupcake mix that required eggs... but there were no eggs. Upon seeing the large container of Oatmeal we had in the pantry, I snapped online found a recipe for Simple Oatmeal Cookies and went to town using what we had around: Quick Oatmeal, Sugar (I used Brown Sugar), Raisins, Butter, Flour, and Baking Soda. 20 minutes of bake time and BOOM! DONE! DELICIOUS!

And now moving on to Halloween! Yes... Halloween has come and gone and we already have Christmas decorations set up at my work... AHHHH! But I want to share some Halloween pics anyway! Me and my hubby, Greg, getting ready to go out for a night on the town!

I am back! With fun things to share...

Finally getting all caught up! I took sooo many pictures on my trip! Visited San Diego, Portland, and Seattle and it was AMAZING!!! Ugh... cant wait to go there again!

San Diego/Del Mar was great! Went to the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, San Diego Zoo, and Old Town!

In Portland we went to the Japanese Gardens, Mothers (the place to be for breakfast!), Van's Warped Tour, the Cullen's House (Twilight Destination), Multnomah Falls, Silver Falls State Park, and a bunch of other scenic places! It was glorious!

Seattle was a day trip! We thought we might as well go and see what its all about! We went up in the Space Needle and went to the Flying Fish Market. Saw a lot of cool shops and architecture and then went back to Portland.

The Twilight stuff was triggered on accident! On our way to Seattle, Washington there was this large sign on the side of a building that said Kalama, a Twilight location. So of course... I HAD to check it out!!! So that's how we came across the Kalama High School and parking lot! That prompted us to see what else we were missing! So when we got back to Portland we visited the Cullen's House and we had already gone to a couple of the scenic areas where bits of the film were shot without knowing! Multnomah Falls and Silver Falls State Park (See pictures below!)

Yay!

Oh and FYI... I know Koalas, and sometimes Pandas, are not really considered bears... but they just sound cuter that way!

Spirit Hood Madness!

I was super excited today when I got my package! My friend told me about these Spirit Hoods that she kept seeing around town, I had no idea what she was talking about so I googled them and fell in love! (Yes. Supposedly I live on another planet because I don't have cable... hence I don't know about these things... Netflix baby! Also I don't follow any celebrity news blogs...) So yeah I bought one...

But anywho... I thought it would be fun to pretend to be cool and hot for a moment and dorked out infront of my camera!

Winter Art Gallery

I am very happy to announce that I have some work up at the Hilton Head Island Library! A friend and fellow artist, Andrea Glover invited me to show off some of my work along with hers. At the library there is a pretty long hallway where local artists hang their work to show off for the passers by and Andrea took one wall and gave me the other. Thank you! ^^
It was a very fun experience and I have already received some very nice feedback from the few people that I met while setting up! Oh yeah, and finding 36 frames was also a blast. (37 if you included the about me one!)

I have returned!

So I went to China and came back... SICK! Of course. Anywho I will have some pictures and details to share soon and get back into doing some photography and illustrations as well!

I have never flown so much in my life! Over the course of 3 weeks I have been on either 11 or 12 planes. Scanned and questioned and all that jazz... 5 Hotels in 10 days. I'm pretty tired and hungry now, but I had fun! Not much site seeing went on because the trip was for work... and there was good food and there was really really bad food.

Just got back today from Michigan. I had a great time with my family and my mom's wedding was lovely! I will post a couple pictures tomorrow.

1. My favorite anime is Tenchi Muyo (all series and movies are included) I have a rather large tattoo on my left arm of Ryoko, Tenchi and Ryo-Ohki ^^

2. My secret lover is Atsushi Sakurai of Buck-Tick... I WISH! My favorite band is Buck Tick =D (a double fact!)

3. I love animals... I have two dogs (Ferris and Flavios), two cats (Bonnie and Clyde), a snake (Glowworm) and Iguana (GumaGama).

4. I love MMORPG's! I have been obsessed with World of Warcraft for many years and am on and off with Warhammer online... right now I am ON with it! hah

5. I am in love with Japan although I have not been there. I am also teaching myself Japanese on and off with Rosetta Stone but I lack discipline!

6. I inherited my grandmothers love of dolls! and got into BJD's a couple years ago. I have various dolls but only own 2 BJD's right now... which was a struggle for my wallet but I see more in the future. I have a Dollzone Megi named Jun Vayu and Soom Chrom named Zephan Andreas.

7. I like to do far too many things which keeps me busy... but it also means I start alot of things and dont finish. Sometimes I wish there was just one thing I liked to do... but then that would be boring!

That was actually pretty easy! I thought i wasnt going to be able to think of seven things... which is why I put this off for so long! ^^

244 Landscaping Project! We didnt know what we were doing, but we got it done! hahah (from left: (1) South Carolina Snow! This was a week or so ago... yes, we still had our xmas wreath up. (2) After Saturdays deweeding there was nothing left. (3) On Sunday we somehow fit the plants into Greg's car and there is Ashe peeking out! (4) Greg with a shovel feeling proud after replanting a tree. We didnt want to throw away anything that might be living so we replanted two trees? and a bush. (5) The final product. We are going to add some flowers too, but that was enough for the day.
