My Collections!

Well a few of my collections... yes. there is more... but yeah. These are the things that inspire me! ^^

Not pictured collections:
1) Tenchi Muyo comprised of boxed figurines, mangas, and a few plushies.
2) Sylvanian Families / Calico Critters with house and lots of little guys.
3) Porcelain Dolls which are dolls that my grandmother gave to me!
Those are the only note worthy ones for now... of course I have many random nick-knacks too that aren't really a collection alone but together... hahahah

I will be dwindling down some old things/collections that I have at some point so that new fun things that interest me can take their place ;)

(Disclaimer: Photos taken with my cellphone in not so well lit areas! ^^)

So first up is my BJD Cabinet: Zephan (Soom), Anabelle (Blythe), Hikari (Volks), Jun (Dollzone), and Ellie Carina (Dollzone) are on the top floor along with some mini blythes and tiny chibi Inyuasha figures. Second floor has my Pullips that I got while in Japan and Hermione Granger's wand (lol). Then we have the more misc floor of Monster High, Tenchi and a Raikes Bear.

Next are my Kokeshis from Japan. They sit along the fireplace mantle. I apologize for the lighting... the downstairs is a very dark place... and it was cloudy today so... yeah. I acquired these from many temple fairs so most of them are vintage. The large one in the middle and the one to the left were gifts from my friend Laura. There are also two others that were gifts from my mother-in-law from when she lived in Japan (samurai in third picture and girl wearing red with short black hair in second picture).

I wanted to show some other things that I bought in Japan. One yen store Kokeshi, Antique wooden 7 gods figurine, and lucky baby monkey in the first image. Second image shows one of my Tanuki's (raccoon dog) and some Guardian dogs. In picture two there is a Totoro music figurine and kimekomi material plush cat. And then for giggles the last picture shows my last standing beanie babies and trolls, these are the ones that made it away from the garage sale bin!

Last but not least! In picture one we have my other Tanuki, a monk, and some hand-sculpted clay figurines that were found at a pottery festival! I just love the Guardian dogs!!! Also I couldn't pass up the vintage Kokeshi style ladies with cloth and metal details!

I hope you enjoyed your peek into the things that inspire me and get to look at everyday!!

Oh no! I forgot two kokeshis... I felt bad so figured I should add them =D
