Art Show Photos!

Finally posting some photos from our Art Show! Andrea definitely did a good job of getting people to come! And the food was great! Thank you to all that came and all that wanted to come!

My husband and me! Next to a lovely poster Andrea made for the event! She combined one of my illustrations along with her fancy type skills!

It was a really good show and we both sold some pieces which is even better!

Hello QR!

So I decided to make a QR Code (or Quick Response Code)! I love all the neat things that come from Japan! Thanks Laura for filling me in on this! I was skeptical at first and was like eh, I don't know if I am interested in that... but then upon hearing all the fun things you can do with these codes and after downloading a QR reading app on my phone, i was sold! Here is what I came up with... now I want to make stickers and stick them everywhere so random people can get to my blog from my code!

Spirit Hood Madness!

I was super excited today when I got my package! My friend told me about these Spirit Hoods that she kept seeing around town, I had no idea what she was talking about so I googled them and fell in love! (Yes. Supposedly I live on another planet because I don't have cable... hence I don't know about these things... Netflix baby! Also I don't follow any celebrity news blogs...) So yeah I bought one...

But anywho... I thought it would be fun to pretend to be cool and hot for a moment and dorked out infront of my camera!

Well now that things have calmed down a bit... who am I kidding?! I have just had no time to do anything now that I got back into World of Warcraft! Hahah

Anywho, I need to get back into some artness here! Goal for this week is 3 posts. I think I can handle that... but lets see. I need to get on a regular schedule because if I dont then my days get all mushed together and weeks feel like days and months feel like weeks and yada yada.

Sidenote: I am wearing a scarf for the first time ever! Well like a scarf that's not a thick winter scarf... like a fashionable scarf thing. I hear they are all the rage! :wink: and I must say I look pretty darn cute in it! Yep.
